ENERGY SECURITY: ENHANCING THE ENERGY MIX
Information
In collaboration with Bruce Power
The energy transition is central to the decarbonization of the economy, however diversifying the energy mix is critical in fostering global energetic security and safeguarding the economy. How can we provide a stable supply of energy, encompassing both renewables and nuclear power, so that transition though done in steps, can be seamless? As energy prices have risen significantly in the past year, some renewable sources have become affordable; can this be sustained during an unstable economic climate, and how can nuclear power play a role in stabilizing costs? What are the most significant challenges and opportunities as we continue paving the road to achieving net zero objectives?
